The material from which cable drums are produced is laminated fir wood plywood, while the central core also consists of PVC parts.

These are the smallest drums produced by Vergnani and their diameter size varies depending on customer’s requirements, i.e. 40, 60, 70 or 75 cm. Additional diameter sizes are possible depending on users’ needs.

Vergnani uses design software and industrial machinery for drums to be customised – e.g. their design or model changes depending on the specific requirements of the customer. Today around twenty-five models of plywood cable drums are available.

Plywood cable drums are intended for use at home or in small working environments such as offices and shops. Cables befitting this type of drum are phone line cables or cables of small electrical installations.

Plywood drums are only meant for sale and not for hire.
